SCHOOL/STUDIO/EVENT POLICY
Very Important!
If you or anyone in your household has any cold or flu symptoms—such as fever, sore throat, or cough—please stay home and take care of yourselves. You can switch to the online class.
Your honesty is essential to protect both us and your fellow dancers and audiences.
Before you come to class/event
Pre-Registration Required: We kindly ask all attendees to pre-register for our events. We do not accept walk-ins or offer on-site ticket sales.
No Refunds, Credits, or Class/Ticket Transfers: We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide refunds, credits, or allow transfers of your class or event tickets, except in the case of a cancellation.
No Makeup Classes/Events for Missed Sessions (Except for Class Drop-Ins): Unfortunately, we do not offer makeup classes for missed class/event, with the exception of drop-in classes. However, if you've signed up for a drop-in class, you have the option to make it up within the same month and in the same class. Please note that this makeup option is only available for drop-in classes.
Arrive in “Ready to Dance” Attire: Please arrive dressed and prepared to dance if you're taking a class. While we do have a small shared changing room, it's best to come ready.
No Filming/Photos during Class: Please refrain from filming or taking photos during class without the teacher's permission. If necessary, our teachers may allow limited filming at the end of the class for private use only. Please do not share these videos on social media.
No Guests Allowed: To maintain a focused learning environment, we do not permit guests, including family members, to observe classes. We suggest asking your family and friends to wait for you in one of the nearby cafes or restaurants.

Filming during Events: Whether filming is allowed during events depends on the preferences of each artist. We will inform you if any specific event prohibits filming. Please respect the decisions of our artists.
Open Windows for Ventilation: To ensure proper air circulation, we keep the windows open during all times. We recommend wearing layers to stay comfortable, especially during colder weather.
Reduce Crowding and Noise: For security reasons, the studio door may be locked. Please wait until the previous class has ended before entering. This helps reduce crowding and noise disruptions.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside our studio and in front of our building. Please respect this policy.
Street Parking Only: We kindly ask that you do not use our designated parking spot or block our driveway, which is reserved for authorized vehicles only. This includes avoiding parking in front of the garage shutter, which is designated for Fitness Gym.

A: For Class: Only if you purchased “Drop-in”, YES, you can take a make-up class on another day. However you must request in advance and redeem it 1) same registered class 2) within the same month you registered.

A: For Show: No refunds will be provided unless the show is canceled.
CLASS: Pre-registration is required for both Monthly session & Drop-ins, No walk-in allowed
Q: Can I pay class fee in Cash/Venmo/Check or at the studio? My schedule is very unpredictable, can I just show up and take a class?
A: Unfortunately NO, we only accept online payment from our website. We do not accept Venmo/PayPal/Cash for group classes. We do NOT take walk-in without prior online registration to control the number of students in each class and we can make sure that you are in right class. You must register monthly session & drop-ins at least ONE DAY prior to a class you’d like to take.

CLASS: Monthly session & Dorp-in
Q: I’d like to take Drop-In but there is no option. I only see monthly session for some classes. Why?
A: Theatre Flamenco has some Drop-In classes but no Drop-in policy for choreography class.
Our teacher adds a new part of the choreography each week. If you only join occasionally, it can be challenging to catch up. If the teacher has to review the previous part for you to catch up, the current students won't be able to progress. Additionally, it is very difficult for the teacher to manage both types of students in one class.
CLASS & SHOW: Filming class/show
Q: Can I film a class and/or shows?
A: For class - If necessary, teacher may allow you film specific parts at the end of class, but those videos should not be on social media. Please do not film in the middle of the class or without teacher’s consent.
A: For shows - It depends on our artists or organizers. Some artists do not wish to be filmed and posted their arts on social media. We will announce it in the beginning of each show. Please respect their decisions.
We would greatly appreciate it if everyone could be more mindful and respectful of others' privacy in this matter.
CLASS VIDEO
Q: I want to join monthly class/drop-in, can you share some videos so that I understand what’s going on in each class?
A: We understand that you’d like to get a sense of the level and content. Please note that the videos we share are not only a part of the class experience but also showcase Carola's extensive expertise and teaching methodology cultivated over many years. As such, access to these materials is included as part of the class fee.
To ensure fairness to all students and respect for Carola's work, we do not share class videos with individuals who are not enrolled in the class. We believe this policy maintains the integrity of the learning experience for our dedicated students.
CLASS & SHOW: Studio space is limited
Q: I was going to sign up but the registration shows “SOLD-OUT” but can I still show up to take the class/any show ticket at the door?
A: Sold-out means that we reached max capacity.
For class, We limit number of students for each in-person class avoiding crowdedness. Registration is first come first serve basis. Please consider to take another class or wait for next week/month.
For show, unfortunately, we do not sell tickets at the door.
CLASS: In-Person to Online class > YES / Online to In-Person class > NO
Q: I registered In-person class but can I sometime switch to Online?
A: YES, you can switch from In-Person to Online (but not the other way around), but this is only for our regular class. Not for special class or guest artist class/workshop etc. You need to inform us as soon as possible in order to receive the online Zoom link for that day. If you inform us on the day of the class, we cannot guarantee you receive Zoom link on time.
If you switch in-person to online Zoom class, it must be for the same class and must be redeemed within the same month you registered. Please be aware that if you inform us on the day of the class, you may not receive the link in time.
CLASS: Zoom link for Online class
Q: When do I receive Zoom link for my Online class?
A: In the morning of the day of each class. If you did not receive the Zoom link for any reasons, you must contact us 2 hours prior to your class starting time.
